Shelly Bligh and Jeff Dixon and their children raised an incredible $1036.55 at their 5th annual car wash, barbecue, and bottle drive - all benefiting the Neonatal ICU at BC Women's.
This annual event is in memory of their son and sibling, Bentley, who only lived 28 days before succumbing to the problems of premature birth.
Together this beautiful family has raised over $9,000 for the babies in the BC Women's Newborn ICU.
Little Bentley's memory will be kept alive in this close-knit community and at BC Women's Hospital through this popular fundraiser.
"It's amazing to see everyone come together for such an important cause and to hear other people's stories; it is comforting to know that we are not alone in this and our son Bentley will never be forgotten," said the Dixon family.
The Dixon family would like to thank The Aldergrove Legion, Grimm's Meat, Region Recycling, Matthew Parmiter, and Del Pollos Restaurant for making this event possible.
