From January 7-31, ParkerArtSalon will be hosting The Poetry Project at the new GALLERY GEORGE at 990 George Street, directly across from Parker Street Studios.
The exhibit is a collaborative project between Beedie Luminaries and ParkerArtSalon, with proceeds from select sales benefitting women’s health.
Beedie Luminaries students were invited to submit a work of poetry, inspired by a selection of art provided by ParkerArtSalon. The poems will be exhibited alongside the corresponding visual artwork resulting in a stimulating juxtaposition of two completely different creative ventures.
Connecting the Dots
Throughout the exhibition, pink dots indicate that select pieces of artwork available for purchase will donate partial proceeds to the BCWHF, ensuring women have equitable access to healthcare, where, when, and how they need it.
