Dr. Brotto is the Executive Director of BC Women’s Health Research Institute.
Dr. Brotto is a leading expert in women’s sexual health and well-being, and a faculty member in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a joint appointment in Psychiatry, and Adjunct appointment in Psychology since 2005. Dr. Brotto more recently has become the Executive Director of the Women’s Health Research Institute where she leads collaborative women’s health research at BC Women’s, PHSA, UBC and other partner universities. Together, these teams of researchers are investigating and advancing women-centred healthcare in British Columbia and beyond.
