BC Women's Dr Paula Gordon named to Women's Executive Network 2014 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100

Some of Canada's boldest female leaders were recognized at  Women's Executive Network - 2014 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Gala for becoming agents of change in reshaping Canadian organizations at the highest levels.

Dr. Paula Gordon, Medical Director of the Sadie Diamond Breast Program at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre, was named as one of the 18 winners in the Sun Life Financial Trailblazers and Trendsetters category. Dr. Gordon began her career as a staff radiologist at the UBC Hospital, where her training put her in the unique position of using ultrasound of the breast to help distinguish noncancerous from cancerous masses and to pioneer the use of ultrasound-guided needle biopsy of breast lumps, which is now the standard-of-care.

The Top 100 Awards celebrate and highlight the professional achievements of women across the country in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
