John Bishop-led India tour benefits BC Women's
SOLD OUT!
Renowned chef and restaurateur John Bishop once visited India as part of a documentary film project. Ever since he has longed to return.
Bishop will get his chance in the fall of 2008, when he hosts what will undoubtedly be an experience of a lifetime for him and his fellow travelers: Namaste. Organized by Carlson Wagonlit Travel Kerrisdale, Namaste is a three-week tour of India in an intimate, well-escorted group setting that offers travelers a chance to visit many of the country’s cultural landmarks, experience its world-renowned cuisine, and get to know the people through visits to local farms.
“It’s a cause close to my heart: both of my children were born at Women’s, and I have very good memories of our experiences there”
- John Bishop
Namaste travelers are also helping thousands of women and babies born in B.C. With every tour booked, a generous portion is being donated to BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre Foundation. Explains Bishop: “It’s a cause close to my heart: both of my children were born at Women’s, and I have very good memories of our experiences there,” says Bishop. “This hospital is such an amazing asset to this province and we are proud to be supporting its goal of being the women’s health leader in B.C.”
