August 12, 2017
August 12, 2017 - Shelly Bligh and Jeff Dixon and their children raised an incredible $1,639.26 at their 6th annual car wash, barbecue, and bottle drive - all benefiting the Newborn ICU at BC Women.

This annual event is in memory of their son and sibling, Bentley, who only lived 28 days before succumbing to the problems of premature birth.

Together this beautiful family has raised over $13,661.22 for the babies in the BC Women's Newborn ICU.

"Another successful year! As usual, the day was amazing, I am so thankful for all the people that came, helped and donated. We raised $1,639.26 this year!! Way to go team!!! A special thanks to BC Women's Hospital and Gabriela Caranfil for bringing us the incubator, making us the awesome graph of all our previous years and for everything that they continue to do for the families and babies that come to the hospital." said Shelly Bligh.

The Dixon family would like to thank Save on Foods, The Aldergrove Star, The Aldergrove Legion, Aldergrove Region Recycling, and Del Pollos Restaurant for making this event possible.
