Prenatal Meditation Class for Moms and their Birthing Partners

Pregnant women and their birthing partners gathered for a 3 hour meditation workshop in support of BC Women's Newborn ICU on June 8th.

In this 3-hour workshop, participants learned:

- Breath awareness meditation for stress reduction and focused awareness
- Body awareness meditation for pain management
- Loving kindness meditation for mother, partner, and baby
- Mindful speech exercise - to enhance communication between the person giving birth and the person supporting her.
