Honouring Elaine Penny's Legacy
Elaine Penny was a dedicated surgical and labour and delivery nurse at BC Women's. Throughout Elaine's 16 years as a nurse with the Birthing Program, she put her heart and soul into helping women and their families have positive birth experiences. Elaine’s spirit and devotion to her work made her a cherished colleague by all who worked with her.
The Elaine Penny Memorial Scholarship honours the life and values of this compassionate, committed nurse. The scholarship will assist registered nurses at BC Women's to further their training and education in women’s health, including peri-operative and perinatal nursing practice.
